The received API key can be used in any program/extension that has a custom endpoint setting. The list includes programs such as: Codex, VS Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Antigravity CLI, Google GenAI SDK, Obsidian, and any applications compatible with the Gemini API or OpenAI API.

Token consumption depends on the selected model and its operating mode. Each model has its own coefficient that is applied when calculating the cost.

The calculation takes into account:
• Input tokens - data sent to the model;
• Output tokens - the response generated by the model;

Prompt caching is not used, so cache creation and cache read are not included in calculations. Each request is processed as a new one, and the passed project context is re-counted as regular input tokens.
